Proactive defence for securing digital transformation
Stand C4, CyberUK 2017, Arena & Conference Centre, Kings Dock, Liverpool, UK
The government will soon be publishing its Transformation Strategy that outlines plans to fundamentally change the way departments operate to fulfil their digital transformation. More and more services are moving to the cloud, from tax returns to healthcare records, making services faster, more open and agile to citizens.
However, digital transformation is happening in an ever-increasing precarious environment. An environment in which data breaches are at an all-time high and incidents of identity theft have risen by 57% in a single year.
Data is the key prize for the hackers. With more government services moving to the cloud, citizens are concerned about the value of their personal data falling into the hand of those with malicious intent. With the rise of the Internet of Things, it is evident the threat of attack has moved from the perimeter to within the organisation, consequently measures need to be put in place to take control of data – regardless of where it resides.
During CyberUK, Thales will be shining a light on how you can take a proactive data defence strategy, learning from our enterprise customers, to maximise the level of control you can have over the data – even when it is physically out of reach.
Find out how Thales can support your organisation with its digital transformation, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, to organise a meeting with our team at CyberUK 2017.
Thales is proudly sponsoring CyberUK’s Proactive Defence Stream workshop on Wednesday 15 March at 3.35pm GMT. Come and join Brian Phelps, Head of Professional Services, and explore how to establish trust with the Internet of Things. You can click here for the full agenda.
